Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• A device identifier — for guest sign-in. It creates an account with no name attached: you can use the app without registering.
• Your Apple or Google account — when you sign in: the account identifier, email, name and avatar. Your password never reaches us.
• App settings — favourite currencies, the order of the home-screen sections, language and theme. When you are signed in, they sync between your devices.
• Rate alert settings — which currency, on what condition.
• A device token for push — only if you turned notifications on.
• Technical data — device model, operating system version, app version and crash reports.
• Billing data — a Pro subscription is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Card details never reach us; the store tells us only the subscription status.
• The advertising identifier — only if you allow it, and only if ads are shown in the app.

2. Why the data is needed

• To show rates and keep the app working.
• To store your settings and favourites and sync them between devices.
• To deliver the rate alerts you asked for.
• To find errors and improve the app.
• To check your Pro subscription status.
• Ads may be shown on the free plan.

We do not sell personal data and do not pass it to third parties for advertising.

3. What is not collected

Location, contacts, camera, microphone and photo library. The app does not ask for these permissions. We never see or store your Apple or Google password.

4. Where the rates come from

Rates are shown from the official data of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the open data banks publish themselves. That data is not linked to your personal data: the app is not a bank, does not exchange currency and does not move money.

5. Third-party services

• Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store subscriptions and push notifications.
• Google — Sign in with Google, Google Play subscriptions and Firebase (push notifications, crash reports).
• Sentry — app and server error reports.
• New Relic — server health monitoring.
• If ads are shown — the Google (AdMob) ad network.

These services have their own privacy policies. We give them only the data needed for the tasks listed above.

6. The website and Google Analytics

The kursapp.uz website uses Google Analytics for visit statistics. Visitors from Europe are asked for consent first: if you decline, nothing is collected and no analytics cookie is set. You can withdraw consent at any time.

7. How long data is kept

Account data and settings are kept while the account exists. Delete the account and they are deleted with it. Technical logs and crash reports are kept in aggregated form for a limited time and then deleted.

8. Deleting your account

There are two ways to delete your account and all data associated with it.

• In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. The account is deleted immediately and permanently, with no waiting period.
• If you have already uninstalled the app: email [email protected] with the account email address. We process requests within 30 days.

Deleted with it: the profile (email, name and avatar), rate alert settings, device tokens used for push notifications and sign-in sessions. No account-linked data is kept.

9. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or for it to be deleted — [email protected]. Notifications and the advertising identifier can be turned off at any time in your device settings.

10. Children

The app is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect children's data. If you learn that your child's data has reached us, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page and the edit date above is updated. We announce significant changes in the app.
